THE TRIAL OF OBLIVION

Dylan was standing in an endless darkness, until he found himself surrounded by a moving mass. It was as if the darkness was coming alive around him, Dylan shielded his eyes
“Be afraid” He looked up in the direction of where the voice had come from, “you have darkness inside you” he turned around looking for the source of the voice, “you can’t escape the Darkness” Dylan looked to the right still looking for the voice, “you can never escape the darkness” he looked around and started to panic when he realised that the ring of shadow was closing in on him. He ducked to the left and rolled under it.
“Dylan?” a new voice rang through the darkness “Dylan, are you okay?”
Dylan looked up at the Dark Abyss. He knew that voice. It was his sister Mikaylah.
The Voice was coming from a Shadow moving in the darkness above him walking on nothing but thin air. “Dylan we really want you to get better”. Now that voice he didn’t know. He reached up towards the hooded figure floating above him and as soon as he’d touched the velvety blackness the cloak fell empty and limp in his hands. Seconds later a cold shrill laugh pierced the silence. Then Dylan was alone.

Dylan crawled to his Hands and feet and looked around; Dylan was on another glass pillar only this one shone Purple, Green and Midnight Blue, Dylan looked down and saw a picture of Green Fire, Purple thorns and midnight sky surrounding a picture of his friends, his friends were wearing pure black armour and holding wicked curved swords, the Blades were covered in Black-silver thorns and had handles made of a shiny black rock that could only be Obsidian a shiny black rock made deep within a Volcano, Dylan’s Friends eyes were Pure Black and their Pupils were Blood Red.
Dylan then looked up and saw a Stone Similar to the three that were on the last pilar only this Pillar was decorated with golden Sky’s, Blue seas and Green meadows. Embedded in the Stone was a Sword, a Japanese Katana used by the samurais of Ancient Japan long ago before the Age of Gunpowder and Guns. The Blade was decorated with Fire and Dragons while the Hilt had the symbol of Balance, Yin and Yang, a Circle with one side the purest White with a Black dot and the other side had a Tiny white dot surrounded by the Deepest Black on it right where the Blade meets the Hilt.
Dylan walked up to the Stone and saw in between the Golden Sky and the Blues Seas and the Green meadows was his Shield he picked from the Last pillar, Dylan touched the Shield and it fell out of the slot straight into his hands, Dylan Backed off a Little staring at the shield then back at the stone, right where the Shield had been was another picture of him, wearing Japanese Samurai armour and holding his shield and the Katana embedded in the Stone before him.
Dylan looked at the Katana then at the Shield then at the Picture and decided that the katana was for him and him alone, he put the shield down on the Ground and climbed the stone reaching for the katana, he reached and pulled it from the stone easily and slowly.
Dylan held the Katana up to the bright white collum made of light coming from the stone he stood on; he stared at the Katana with Awe and amazement, it was a Blade of beauty, as Sharp as a Steak knife but as light as a Feather.
As he stared Dylan felt warmth spread from the katana to his Body covering his clothes in a blind white Light so blinding Dylan had to cover his face with his hand, when the light had Disappeared Dylan removed his hand and stated at his Clothes he once wore, His T-shirt had becoming Green Samurai armour with a Blue Outline, his Pants had become a Samurai Battle dress and comfortable and light silk Samurai Pants, his Arms were covered in Green Gauntlets for his Hands, Pauldrons for his Shoulders and Vanguards for his Lower Arm. In between the Vanguard and Pauldrons and underneath his Chest plate was an Orange silk shirt.
Dylan climbed down form the stone and found his shield were he left it and next to it was a Sheath for his Katana, a belt to attach the Sheath to and a another type of belt that goes under the Arms, Over the Neck and Shoulder and over the back, the point of the second belt was to attach the shield to his back and saves carrying it on his Arm all the time.
“This is the boy the Master told us to kill” Dylan spun around looking for the man in the clock again hoping to fight him and get this test thing over and done with, “The look of him reeks with weakness” another voice came from the darkness to Dylan’s Left, “lets hope he can at lest put up a fight” Dylan kept turning around scanning the Darkness looking for the Voices.
“SHOW YOURSELFS, WHOEVER YOR ARE” Dylan was getting frustrated at these people he couldn’t see, he just wanted to see these people, find out what they want and get out of this dream.
Dylan waited for a sound when he heard a sword being pulled from its Sheath behind him, he turned and jumped back just as a sword struck right where he was just standing, the sword was a old European long sword, thin, long and dangerous, its blade was slightly Diamond shape with a groove down the middle of the flat side of the blade to draw the blood away from the Blade and down to the Hilt, the Hilt was a Golden colour and had a Rapier like Hilt which went all the way around the hand.
Dylan pulled his Katana from its sheath at his side and his Shield from his back ready for battle, the man he was facing was wearing Familiar Armour as blue as the sea while holding the Long sword and a old European knight shield. Dylan was about to run at the attacker when he heard another Sword being pulled from its Sheath off to his Right, Dylan turned and brought his Shield up to block the attack from the Broadsword that was aiming right his Head, he then parried another attack from the First Swordsmen which was aiming at a Gap in between Dylan’s Chest Plate and Pauldrons.
Dylan pushed both the swords back and took a good look at the both attackers the first attacker was wearing Spanish Conquistador armour from around the time of Early guns and the Discovery of the Americas, the Second attacker was wearing Golden plate Armour like those worn by the medieval Knights of Old, his Sword was big, Fat and able to Cut a Man in half with one sweep.
“Ok so there’s Two of You and One of me, bring it on” Dylan ran at the men hoping he knows what he what he was doing, the two men just stood there as Dylan closed the gap between them, 8 Metres the men still did nothing, 5 metres Dylan Raised his sword ready to attack, at 3 metres a Wall of Fire sprung up out of nowhere between Dylan and the Two men.
Dylan Turned to his Right spying the cause of the Fire, a Man wearing Robes as green as Grass in the winter time, in his Left hand he Held a short katana Like Dagger as long as a Piece of Paper and twice as Sharp, in his Right was a Giant Wooden staff, the staff looked similar to the one Dylan saw Embedded in the stone on the last pillar.
“Ok fine I’ll take on all three of you” Dylan raised his Sword and rested it on his shoulder blade up, ready to attack, “You will Face us one at a Time Boy, we are to test your Fighting Skills, Both Physical and Magical” The First man Put his Sword back in its Sheath and Stared at Dylan, The Other two put there Blades away and did the Same, “you will never face the tests and live unless you can fight Dylan” Dylan stared at the man for saying his name, his face full of Puzzle, “How did you know my Name? Who are you Anyway and where am I?” Dylan stood up straighter with his katana and Shield still in his hands, “We are the Spirits of Power, we have been told to fight and defeat you” The second attacker walked forward and Pushed Dylan a little but enough to knock him to the ground “HA this little Runt couldn’t Beat me if his Life Depended on it, look at him, as skinny as a small tree and twice as small HAHAHAHAHAHA” Dylan jumped to his Feet and grabbed his katana from the ground.
“WHATS SO FUNNY, I’LL TAKE YOU ON RIGHT NOW” Dylan stared angrily at the man while the man stared back at him shocked that Dylan had talked back to him “What did you say to me”? The Man pulled his Broadsword out of its Sheath behind his back “Do you have some kind of bone to pick with me” now Man stared at Dylan angrily, Dylan raised his shield ready for an attack and replied “actually I have several bones to pick with everyone here” “those were fighting Words, Prepare to be beaten BOY” The Man ran at Dylan with such speed he was on Dylan before Dylan could even react.
Dylan just managed to raise his shield as The man brought his Broadsword down on it, Dylan was trying to hold his shield up when the Man Punched him in the Face, giving Dylan a Blood Nose in the process, Dylan backed up holding his Nose, trying to stop the blood flowing,
CRACK
Dylan cracked his nose back into place, He looked up and was about to bring his shield up when the man knocked it away and out of Dylan’s Hand, Dylan watched as his shield flew away and almost went off the edge when the man kicked him to the ground, Dylan landed on his back with his Katana still in his hand and The Mans foot on his chest pinning Dylan to the ground, “YOU CANNOT WIN BOY” He yelled at Dylan as he brought his sword up and prepared to stab Dylan in his neck, The man Stood over Dylan with his Sword pointing down ready to strike, “YOU ARE WEAK, NO ONE NEEDS YOU, NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU, YOU ARE DESTINED TO LIVE YOU LIFE ALONE AND UNLOVED BY ALL” With each word that came from The Mans Mouth, Dylan’s Rage Grew until Dylan was ready to Explode with Fury, “YOU CANNOT EVEN SAVE YOURSEF” The man started to Laugh when Dylan’s Exploded with rage, “YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME” Dylan pushed The Man off him and Brought his sword up ready to attack “YOU DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME AT ALL” Dylan’s Rage filled him with a strange force that made him strong and increased his speed to the super sonic Speeds required to break the Sound barrier.
“YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME, I WILL PREAVIL AND I WILLKILL YOU ALL” Dylan raised his sword so that it pointed at the man who attacked him “FARWELL” and with the final word Dylan disappeared.
The Man looked around looking for Dylan, the boy had disappeared from sight, the man looked left when he noticed a red line appeared on his Wrist, the man looked at it when his hand fell of, the pain kicked in and the man yelled and fell to his knees hold the Stub of his hand, The Man then looked up to see Dylan Standing in front of him holding his katana, The katana was covered in Blood, “How can a mere Boy (Grunt in pain) defeat me”? He looked at the boy in fear and shock, Dylan was Smiling as he replied “because I am destined to defeat you” Dylan Raised his Katana and then brought it down on the man splitting him in half, Dylan stood up properly and watched at the Corpse in front of him split into two half’s and collapse to the ground.
Dylan turned to the other two men standing on the edge of the Pillar, “which one of you is next”? Dylan looked at the two men with his Katana at his side, “follow the stairs and you will find your next opponent” the Man wearing conquistador armour pointed to the edge behind Dylan and disappeared in a Portal of black thorns and Swirling purple and grey Water, the man in the Meadow Green Robes tapped the Pillar with his Staff and Disappeared in a portal of Purple Fire and darkness.
Dylan walked over to the left edge of the pillar and picked up his Shield putting it on his back where it locked into place on his back.
Dylan turned around and saw a small ledge coming from the pillar edge right behind where Dylan was standing before, Dylan Pulled out a Cloth that was in one of his Pockets and wiped his sword with the cloth wiping all the blood off the Blade.
Dylan walked to the Ledge and saw that it was made out of the same materials as the pillar only this one was like a blue Sea, Dylan looked underneath the Glass Ledge and saw that it just hung there unsupported by anything at all, Dylan looked at the glass ledge wondering what would Happen if he stood on the ledge, Maybe it would hold, maybe it would collapse, maybe it would act like an Elevator taking him up or down, Dylan was still thinking about it when he noticed another ledge behind the first one, this step was a kind of Orangey Yellow that you only find in a Fire, the Ledge was raised above the first one slightly so that they resembled a pair of steps, Dylan then remembered what the Man said about Stairs that would lead to his next opponent and he wondered where these stairs would take him.
Dylan turned around looking for anyone to help him, anything that might tell him where he was, a map, a drawing anything, When Dylan turned around to look at the spot where the two men had being he found a Small forest had sprung up right opposite the Place where he stood now, in the small Forest stood a Tree and on that Tree he saw a sign that looked familiar, the symbol was about the size of a CD and had three big arms, one pointing Down and the other two on a diagonal angle slightly upwards, in between the three arms were smaller versions of the arms pointing up and diagonally down, the whole symbol was Ruby Red in colour, The sign was scratched into the bark and Dylan had seen e symbol recently but he couldn’t remember where.
Dylan Turned his head back to face the stairs and then turned back to the Forest and the sign, Dylan decided to cut the bark off with the symbol on it, Roll it up into a cylinder then put it his Pocket so that whenever he saw someone he could ask what it meant, Dylan walked up to the Tree and pulled out his Katana when a Knife hit the Tree he was facing thrown by someone from behind him.
Dylan Spun around to find no one there just an empty pillar and the Stairs, which had increased from 2 steps to about 30 steps, Dylan turned back to the knife to find a Sheath hanging from the handle and that it looked like a miniature version of his katana. Dylan pulled the Sheath off the knife handle and took his belt off containing his Katana Sheath, Dylan Placed the Knife sheath on the far side of the belt so that when Dylan put the belt back on it was on the opposite side of the belt buckle.
Dylan reached up to grab the Knife when he felt like something was watching him, something Primal, Bestial, Something Hungry, Dylan Pulled the Knife out of the tree and started to saw at the bark slowly removing the sign and the Bark with it while looking around him looking for the enemy.
When the bark came away Dylan quickly rolled it up and tucked it in his pocket, Dylan then turned and started to run to the stairs when he heard four giant thuds hit the Ground, Dylan turned and saw a Smiladon standing there looking at him.
The Smiladon was the largest Cat ever to live, It was bigger then a Tiger at about one and half metres high and 4 metres long covered in light brown fur similar to a Lions fur, It stood up on four thick Muscular legs and had a Head as big as large book but the most fearsome feature of the Smiladon before him was it’s teeth, as long as a mans lower arm and curved backwards giving the Smiladon its common name.
The Creature before him was the fearsome Sabre Tooth Tiger,
and it was looking at Dylan like an Animal would look at its next Meal.
The Smiladon opened its mouth and roared at Dylan and charged at him FAST, Dylan knew he couldn’t out run this thing even if he made it to the Stairs and it was powerful enough to bring a rhino or a hippo to the Ground in one Tackle so Dylan had one option, Jump out of the Way and try stay away from the beast.
The Smiladon was about to crash tackle Dylan when he jumped out of the way and rolled slight landing on his feet in a crouched position with one hand holding his pocket and one hand on the ground to stop him falling, the Smiladon roared in frustration and turned around to face Dylan again, by this Time was on his feet and facing the Smiladon with one Hand his Katana hilt and his other hand reaching for his shield.
The Smiladon stared at Dylan and Dylan stared right back still reaching for his shield, Dylan had almost reached it when the Smiladon charged at him, Dylan went bug eyed and stared pulling the Katana from its sheath and bringer it around so that it would hopefully cut the Smiladon as it charged at him, Dylan spun around with his Katana Under hand so that it pointed backwards and the Smiladon leaped at Dylan jumping over his katana as it spun around unfortunately the katana made contact with the Front left paw slicing it off and diverting the Smiladon of its path slightly.
The Smiladon landed heavily on the other side of Dylan missing a paw, Dylan stopped spinning and looked at the Smiladon in pain, The Smiladon tried to lick the Wound but it obviously was very painful so it couldn’t, Dylan was about to walk of when the Smiladon roared in Pain, Dylan turned back around and pointed at the Big cat “When I stop you screaming and fix you paw DO NOT EAT ME” Dylan picked up the paw and a Word popped into his head, one Word “CURE”, Dylan brought the Bloody paw back to the Roaring Smiladon and Reattached it back to the Limb, Dylan then pointed his katana at the Paw and said the Word that had popped into his Head when he held the Smiladon Paw.
After he said Cure a Green Flower appeared and opened up above the Smiladon’s paw spilling a shower of Glowing green petals over the wound and sealing it back up, Dylan lowered the katana and felt slightly tired, like the cure required a bit of his Strength to complete it.
“Interesting” Dylan looked up at the Smiladon quickly; the Smiladon was looking its paw almost as if it was studying it, “You are learning quickly” The Smiladon looked at Dylan and Smiled, Dylan jumped backwards and stared at the Smiladon, “WELL don’t act so surprised, I’m a Smiladon that talks so what, YOU just cast a magic spell and a good one at that” Dylan stared at his katana in his Hand and Felt amazed, he had just cast a healing spell on a Smiladon that had just tried to kill him.
“Well don’t act so surprised” The Smiladon pointed at Dylan “You are looking at a Talking Smiladon and this” The Smiladon swept his front legs from the left to the right pointing at the Dark abyss surrounding the Pillar “is Your dream world only some dark evil shadows took over command and changed it into what you see now” The Smiladon stared at the ground in silence, Dylan Still Stared at the Big cat before him.
“What do you keep staring at?” the Smiladon brought its head up and looked at Dylan “I’m not that surprising, am I?” Dylan just stared at the Smiladon and Fainted backwards; his feet came up in the air then quickly fell back down, “oh well I suppose I’ll make a fire and some food” The Smiladon walked to the forest and quickly disappeared in its dark Green gloomy interior.

Dylan slowly regained conciseness and kept his eyes closed waiting for his Mum of dad to come in and say it’s time to get up for School, Dylan remembered a Dark Abyss, Three men and a Talking Smiladon, Dylan chuckled to himself, Talking Smiladon’s yeah right.
Dylan rolled onto his Bed and realised it was Hard, cold and felt like Glass, Dylan’s Eyes bolted open and all he saw was coloured glass and a Horizon of Blackness.
Dylan quickly stood up and saw that he was still on the Pillar only now they was a fire next to him and the forest had grown and now covered half of the Collum.
Dylan quickly scanned the area around him looking for the Smiladon and hoping to get away from it while it was gone; The Pillar was empty except for the Forest, Dylan and a small fire next to Dylan.
Dylan looked at the stairs and saw that they disappeared; Dylan wondered how far he could get before the Smiladon caught him leaving, As Dylan stared at the stairs a Shadow began to emerged from the forest behind him, it was pure black, as big as a Tiger with wicked curved pikes coming out of its Spine and Shoulder blades, Its eyes were Pure Red and on the end of the Tail was a Arrow making the Tail look like a Devil’s Tail, The Shadow cat snuck up on Dylan while he was looking at the stairs, closer and closer until it was right behind Dylan.
“FFFIIIRRREEE” Dylan and the Cat Spun around as the Smiladon thundered out of the Forest stopping just behind the Fire, as soon as the Smiladon had stopped the fire grew and swallowed the Shadow cat and knocking Dylan backwards onto the stairs, The Fire Carried the Cat upwards as it’s trapped prey roared in pain.
As suddenly as it happened the fire rushed downwards Crushing and Incinerating the Cat within and blowing itself out while spraying a circle around the smouldering ashes of the fire.
Dylan was sitting down with his hands behind him to stop him from falling over when the Smiladon walked in front of him, ‘WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT THING?” Dylan got to his feet and pointed at the oily circle behind the Smiladon, “that thing was a creeper, a shadow version of a Puma or a Panther” the Smiladon walked over to the Ashes of the Fire and put a Paw over them, Dylan was about to laugh when the Smiladon whispered something and a fireball shot out of it’s Paw and set the Ashes on fire again.
The Smiladon moved back about 3 feet and lay down, trying to enjoy the fire’s warmth, “who OR what are you?” Dylan walked over and crouched next to the Smiladon and stared it in its eye “no animal could possibly do what you just did” Dylan looked at the Fire then back at the Smiladon “or even TALK” Dylan kept staring at the Smiladon until it opened its mouth “I am a shape shifting Magician who along with my 3 brothers were the Guardians of this place” the Smiladon stared deep into the fire “I was the Guardian of the Southern forests and plains where I would take long walks with all my animal friends” The Smiladon stood up and turned a Pure blinding white colour, Dylan covered his eyes and looked away until the light had gone, Dylan looked back to find a Man with long spiky green hair standing in the place of the Smiladon, he was about 6 foot and wore tree brown robes and a cloak made out of Feathers, Fur and Leaves, at his side was a Dark green sheath holding a Samurai katana similar go Dylan’s while in his right hand he held a long reddish brown staff with a Grey pointed rock at the top.
The Man put his hand of the Fire and all of a Sudden the Fire just disappeared into his hand, the Man turned to Dylan and said, “My name is Buka and I will teach the Arts of Magic”.
“You’ve already learnt CURE so now we are onto FIRE, WATER, LIGHTNING and ICE” Buka pointed at the closest tree and made it move forward slightly, “Concentrated on this Tree and say FIRE” Buka stood back and watched Dylan as he closed his eyes and thought about the Tree being on while fire while saying the word FIRE.
Cause Dylan’s left hand was pointing at his foot a Fireball that came put of Dylan’s hand hit his foot and set it alight, Dylan realised what happened and started hopping around on one foot while trying to put the fire out, Buka just stared at Dylan and eventually pointed his hand at Dylan while saying a long and complicated ice spell sending a wave of ice shooting out of his hand a turning Dylan’s burning foot into a Frozen Popsicle, Dylan stopped hoping around and turned to stare daggers at Buka while crossing his arms and saying “Thanks a lot”.
Dylan stared at his frozen cast and wondered how he could get rid of it when Buka walked over, “if you want to get rid of it concentrate on it and say WATER” Dylan growled his displeasure to himself and stared at the ice surrounding his Leg muttering the Spell then looking back at Buka, Dylan instantly felt the ice on his Leg shrink and in some parts he felt no ice so he looked back at the ice to see that it was melting and flowing down his leg leaving nothing but a puddle around his feet.
When the Ice was gone Buka stood back a little, Dylan looked up and wondered why he did that when Buka told him to Say the Spell “EARTH” and point his hands at the ground, Dylan brought his hands up so that they were level with his neck but pointing at the ground.
Dylan took a deep breath then brought his hands down in a straight line while saying the Magical EARTH word, when Dylan’s hands were about 10 centimetres from the ground a Circular earth wall exploded from the ground around him and cracking the Glass all the way to the way to the edge of the Pillar.
“Now put you hands pointing to the side and say Wind” Buka was now walking around Dylan, studying how Dylan cats his Spells “after you say the Spell put your hands together and point them at the Sky” Dylan did this and cause a Tornado to appear and knock down all the Trees and blow away the Ashes of the Fire, The Next three spells Dylan completed the quickly and a bolt of Blue Lightning, A Wave of Ice and what looked like a flamethrower of Water all shot out of Dylan’s hand.
Buka stared to walk towards the Stairs that expanded far out into the darkness, “come, it is time to face the Shadow guardians in the Twisted land of Ice and snow” Dylan started walking after Buka and they both came to the stairs they didn’t stop walking, “Who are the Shadow guardians?” Dylan looked at Buka waiting for an answer, “the shadow guardians are Evil versions or SHADOWS of Key people in your life” Dylan remembered the big man that had almost killed him on the last pillar, Dylan stopped and stared at Buka in wonder at what he meant, Buka kept on walking, “all of them hang out as a group and often hang out in the Realm of Callistemon while the Leader of this whole thing has made the Realm of Deloraine his Base” Dylan was just watching Buka as they climbed higher on the stairs.
Half an hour later and they had left the pillar far behind in the darkness and were surrounded by darkness that was kept away from a mysterious light that seemed to emit from the stairs themselves, “Who are the next shadow Guardian?” Dylan was looking around at the darkness just in case anything attacked them from there, “I will not tell you the Shadow Guardians you Vs but three of them will be mine to Kill” Buka didn’t sound happy and said the Last words in disgust, “the other three Guardians are Nalyd, Dartan and Nrantulas aren’t they?” Buka stopped walking and turned around to look at Dylan while asking, “How the hell do you know that?” “This is my Dream world isn’t it so all my creations of my Imagination would be here” Dylan started walking again while Buka just stared at him in wonder “huh…? How…? How did he…? When did he…?” Buka kept wondering when Dylan called out for him to Hurry up.
After an hour Dylan began to see things emerge from the Darkness something that looked like an old style picture Frame you would find in a castle of a museum, the only difference was that the picture was moving and it was showing Dylan climbing over his bath trying to escape two hippos that were trying to eat him, “Pay no attention to them” Dylan turned around to find Buka standing there staring at the one of Many of Dylan’s early Nightmare ‘this is suppose to be the hall of Memories but all this corruption has turned it into the hall of nightmares where all your worst fears and Dreams are held” Buka looked at the Picture frame just as one of the hippos trapped Dylan in his Shower and managed to eat him in one bite.
“Lets go” Buka walked away from the Nightmare and off to the end of the stairs, which just stopped in mid air, Dylan looked around and saw more picture frames like the one just passed, inside one Picture frame was Frankenstein locked inside his Red Kia Rio With Dylan try to beat him on the Head with his shoe, another one had Dylan and his friends hiding in his house while outside one of the Windows was the T-rex from Jurassic Park 2 while next to it was Dylan hiding in his old Station wagon while another T-rex was just outside the Door, next to that one was a nightmare Dylan had early in the year about two duck bill Dinosaurs on his front yard and a T-rex bursting through his front door.
While Dylan was sight-seeing Buka had reached the end of the stairs and pointed his staff at a black wall that stood in front of him, the crystal on the staff glowed for a second then Buka lowered his Staff and suddenly looked up quickly pulling out his Katana.
Dylan heard Buka pull out his Sword and quickly grabbed his shield just in case Buka tried to launch another attack, “RUN” Buka was still looking at the sky with his Katana in one hand and his Staff in the other, a Aura of Majesty and Power seemed to radiate from him, “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR A BLOODY INVENTATION BY THE SHADOW GAURDIANS, MOVE” Dylan was still standing there when Buka looked at him then back at the Sky then Back to Dylan.
Dylan stared up at the Sky but saw nothing but Darkness when Buka ran over and grabbed him by his shield belt hurling him through the solid wall and disappeared after him just before a shadow wearing pure black armour and holding a wicked curved sword covered in Black-silver thorns and had handles made of a shiny black rock that could only be Obsidian dived from the Air and plunged their sword in the Glass stairs where Dylan had being standing just minutes before, the shadow climbed to it’s feet and stared at the solid wall that Dylan and Buka had escaped through with Pure Black eyes and Blood Red Pupils.
Buka and Dylan were on their feet again running down a stone hallway full of Dark thorns and Black suits of armour, their had being running for half an hour already and Dylan was out of breath, “Can we…huff…take a break…puff” Dylan stopped and doubled over with his hands on his Knees trying to catch his breath, Buka Turned around fast and said “DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO THAT WAS?” pointed back down the hall behind Dylan, Dylan shook his head and looked back at the ground trying to catch his breath “That was the Shadow Guardian Ebony Hurlston” Dylan head bolted up his eyes wide, Ebony Hurlston was one of Dylan’s friends from the grange high School in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria about 3 minutes walk from Dylan’s house, “when I said all that are Dear to you I meant your friends” Dylan turned to look at Buka who was standing next to him, his mouth a hard line.
Dylan and Buka walked down the hallway in silence, it was 2 hours since Buka told Dylan that most of the Shadow Guardians were Dylan’s friends and their had walked the entire 2 hours without saying a single word, “who exactly are the Shadow guardians?” Dylan turned to look at Buka without stopping “The shadow Guardians are your brother, Sister and most of your friends” Buka kept staring ahead of him “who exactly are the Shadow guardians” Dylan was still staring at Buka “I don’t know who the leader is yet but the ones I do know are Tristan, Mikaylah, Ebony, Brandon, Scott, Keryn, Mason, Lachlan, Alex, Robert and Jackson” Dylan stopped walking and looked at the floor mouth agape, most of his friends were trying to kill him plus his brother, sister and all his boy cousins, “come on” Dylan looked up to see Buka halfway down the hallway already waiting for him next to a large wooden door covered in ice and a giant Symbol with three big arms, one pointing Down and the other two on a diagonal angle slightly upwards, in between the three arms were smaller versions of the arms pointing up and diagonally down while it was Ruby Red in colour, the Symbol covered most of the door an was a big as 5 fully grown men laying side by side.
Dylan walked up the Door and stared at the symbol while pulling the bark roll from his pocket unrolling it as he went, “ the Centre of it is missing” Buka was pointing at a small black hole in the middle of the giant symbol “it is missing the Keystone” Dylan looked at the bark scroll in his hands then back at the symbol stunned by the size of it, Dylan was still staring at the giant ruby carving when Buka turned and grabbed Dylan’s shield from his back dragging Dylan a foot away from his original spot, “OI GIVE THAT BACK” Dylan was pointing at his shield which Buka was scanning like a scanner copies a piece of paper, “you had the Keystone of Heat all this time and you didn’t tell Me” Buka held the shield in both of his hands so that it’s shining reflective face was pointing at Dylan, embedded in the shield was a Red gem about the size of a Thumbnail and perfect in all ways and shaped like the giant symbol on the door and the symbol on the scroll.
“This is a Ruby of infinite price and power, it has the ability to banish Snow and melt ice” Dylan stared at the ruby in his shield and felt a warm wave sweep over him and melt all the ice at his feet, “only the wielder of this shield may remove the ruby and reunite it with the Great ruby on the door” Buka handed he shield to Dylan who took it with both of his hands still staring at the ruby realising that when he first saw the symbol was before he got his katana when the shield was on the front of the stone with the Golden Skies, the Blue Seas, The green meadows and the picture of him as a Samurai warrior.
“So you’ve decided to fight the big fishes Buka” Dylan and Buka both spun to see three men standing next to a suit of Armour slightly down the hall, all three of them looked like Buka only one of them had pure red spiky hair and was about 4 foot 9 and a skinny build, another one of them had bluish grey hair down to his shoulders and looked about 6 foot and 8 while the last one had short light brown hair and was the tallest of the three at 7 foot 4 and busting with muscle.
“Nalyd you betraying flounder” Buka practically spat that sentence out while drawing his Katana, Dylan noticed that the three man before Buka and himself all had two broadswords at their sides and a Double sided Axe on their back.
“We own this world and once we kill that boy’ the Lead one Nalyd pointed at Dylan, “We will escape and conquer the real world” Dylan looked at the ruby in his shield then back at the three men who he Guessed were Buka’s brothers Nalyd, Nrantulas and Dartan, the original guardians of Dylan’s Dream world.
“Hand over the boy Buka and I will give you a quick and painless electrocution death” the smallest attacker Dartan held out his hand as if Buka was going to give him money, Dylan looked at Buka waiting for his decision, it came as one answer.
“EEAARRTTHH” Buka swept his staff in front of him causing a giant Earth wall to form and surge forward towards His brothers, “DYLAN GRAB THE RUBY AND PUT IT IN HAT GATE” Buka turned to point at the door behind them, “AFTER YOU OPEN THE GATE RUN LIKE HELL AND DON’T LOOK BACK” Buka turned back to see his Earth wall simply Explode in a dust cloud of Splinters and Small rock shards, stepping out of the Dust cloud was Nalyd with his two Broadswords at hand, “YOU CAN’T USE EARTH AGAINST ME BROTHER FOR I AM THE EARTH KING” Dylan watched as Nalyd raised his swords until there pointed sideways and the Earth wall behind him shattered and formed very sharp shards all pointing at Buka and Dylan, Dylan grabbed the Gem in his shield just as Nalyd brought his swords forward sending the Shards forward only to be destroyed by a water Spell cats by Buka, Nalyd and Buka stood staring at each other between the water shield when the water stared forming a whirlpool straight in the Hands of Nrantulas the Water King and ice emperor “Can’t use water or Ice against me cause has no effect by this might have and effect on YOU” Nrantulas Punched the air and sent a blue fire ball off his hand and straight at Buka only to be sucked into the Keystone of Heat which now hung around Dylan’s neck like a necklace.
“WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?” Nrantulas stared at Dylan shocked that the boy had just absorbed his attack without even a scratch ‘BROTHER, THE KEYSONE IS AROUND HIS NECK” Dartan was pointing at the Ruby hanging from Dylan’s neck, “IMPOSSIBLE THE KEYSTONE WENT MISSING YEARS AGO” Nrantulas started backing up slowly still shocked, “hey Buka” Dylan was staring at the three Brothers before him with his sword on fire in his hand and his shield in the other, “lets knock these Guys into next Mondays Dream” Dylan raised his sword just in time to parry a attack from the lightning fast Dartan causing sparks to fly.
Buka ran forward and swiped at Nalyd with his katana and sent a lightning bolt at Nrantulas who blocked it with his Axe and fire a Snowball back at Buka.
As the three Brothers fought Dylan and Dartan were both causing sparks to fly as they’re fought at super sonic speeds, Slash, dodge, Parry, Duck, stab, Slash, thrust, Parry, parry, Duck, Dodge, slash, slash, duck, jump, parry, slash.
Nalyd brought his broadswords up and quickly brought them back down sending a giant wave of Frozen earth and tiles at Buka who was parrying attacks from Nrantulas with is Katana, “YOU WEAK BROTHER” Nrantulas jumped and landed on the earth wave before it Him and Buka, “AND THAT IS WHY YOU CHOSE TO FIGHT FOR THE WEAK” Buka stepped back and pointed his katana at the Give wave of Tile, earth and ice, “Thundaga sppedaga powerga” Buka leapt forward at the earth wall and sliced through it with his enhanced strength and speed.
“DYLAN CAST A COMBANATION FIRE, WATER, EARTH, WIND SPELL AT DARTAN THEN COME HERE QUICK” Buka swiped at Nalyd only to be parried by Nrantulas and punched in the face by Nalyd, Dylan kicked Dartan away and pointed his katana at him yelling the Magic spells out “FIRE AND EARTH AN WATER AND WIND” a flaming mud ball shot out of Dylan’s Katana and slammed into Dartan’s chest fracturing his Ribs and forcing one through his heart killing the boy in one simple move.
As Dartan’s body fell to the ground dead Dylan ran over and kicked Nrantulas in the stomach forcing him back and away from Buka who was trying to hold off both of Nalyd’s big fat and thick Broadswords with his slim and thin Katana, ”GREAT YOU’RE HERE” Buka grabbed Nalyd by one of his Hands and spun him around collecting Nrantulas on the way and threw them into a armour suit next to them, the Armour collapsed underneath their combined weight and all three of them fell to the ground.
“Now I want you to cast a spell with me back to back” Buka was watching the suit of Armour and his two remaining brothers carefully, ‘I want you to channel all you energy into one outward fire spell and blow this place sky high with my Lightning spell” Buka had his Katana pointing at the ground to his left while his Staff pointed to the ground on his right again a aura of majesty and power surrounded him.
Nalyd and Nrantulas threw the pieces of armour away and climbed to their feet finding Buka and Dylan standing back to back, “Surround them” Nalyd looked at Nrantulas and pointed at their two enemies before him then climbing to his feet he grabbed his broadswords only for them to break from hitting the stone wall too hard, Nalyd stared at the two half’s of his Broadswords then threw them away in disgust and grabbed his Axe from his back while Nrantulas quickly circle the two heroes until he face Dylan with his Broadsword in one hand and his Axe in the Other.
“Ready” Buka asked Dylan charging up his energies with Dylan staring at Nrantulas ready to strike, “Ready’ Dylan’s flaming sword began glowing with blue fire which was hotter then red fire, lightning bolts started jumping over Buka’s body and His weapons as he charged up his Negative charge.
When they reached full power Dylan and Buka both locked arms and let their powers combine,
Dylan’s fire with a positive Charge,
Buka’s Lightning with a negative charge,
Nalyd and Nrantulas both leapt forward to strike when all hell broke loose.
“FIRE” a wave of White hot fire spread out in a semi circle from Dylan throwing Nrantulas against the wall behind, “LIGHTNING” a wave of lightning bolts and static electricity spread out from Buka and hurling Nalyd against the opposite wall, where the two spells met in the middle a new wave full of burning power and shocking electricity spread out and destroyed every available surface including Nalyd and Nrantulas.
The electrical heat wave killed Nalyd and Nrantulas before they knew what hit them; the wave incinerated their bodies and everything around beyond recension, the only things that survived the blast were Dylan, Buka and the door.
Buka and Dylan both sat down on the water covered floor and tried to catch their breath, “next time…huff…puff…put the Keystone in the door…. huff…before you attempt some crazy stunt” Buka pointed at the tiny black dot in the door which still needed to be filled, “fine…huff…then I’ll let you die…puff…against three enemies…huff…and I’ll escape to a land unknown” Dylan got to his feet and walked over to the doorway while taking the symbol from around his Neck and removing it from the chain he had surrounded it in, Dylan stopped just before the giant door and without a thought slotted the small ruby into the hole.
The Ruby glowed brightly in it’s new home and soon the Ruby was so bright that Dylan couldn’t even look at it, suddenly the whole hallway shone a bright red light and all the water, black armour, thorns and bodies of the shadow guardians disappeared to be replaced by crystal like statues and beautiful trees reaching up to the roof which was made completely out of Silver with Gold trim.
Dylan opened his eyes and looked at the doorway hoping that no more bad guys were behind it and ready to jump out and kill him, Buka walked up behind him and said, “Welcome to the Gate of Callistemon” Dylan just stared at the golden gate that had replaced the doorway, in between the gateway was a silver veil that looked like someone had dropped a stone in a pool of water.
Dylan looked at Buka then back at the gate when Buka put a hand on Dylan’s back and pushed him through the gateway where he slammed down on a earthly ground covered in grass, Dylan crawled to his hands and knees to stare at the sight ahead of him, it was a group of building that Dylan knew well, it was the grange Primary campus on Callistemon drive, Dylan was still starring at the school when he heard metal rattling and grass be crushed underneath heavy shoes, Dylan whirled around and instantly bug eyes, arranged in a semi circle were what looked like the last shadow guardians, dressed in pure Black Armour and wielding wicked curved sword covered in Black-silver thorns and had handles made of a shiny black rock that could only be Obsidian and staring at Dylan with black eyes and pure red pupils were Dylan’s friends and they were all out to kill him.
Dylan just said two words, “Oh sh*t”.

Dylan pulled his sword out of the Sheath and grabbed his shield from the ground while starring at the dark figures before him, the Shadow guardians before him were His brother Tristan, his sister Mikaylah and all his friends.
“You have come far to die here” the tallest of the Shadow guardians stepped forward and pointed at Dylan, but you’ll never get past us” the man lowered his hand and kept walking towards Dylan, “Get lost Mason and take your sister and all my so called FRIENDS WITH YOU” the man stopped a few feet away from Dylan staring at him.
“Say your prayers because you are going to Die where you stand” Mason leapt at Dylan and slashed at him only to strike the Air where Dylan had being Standing just moments ago, Dylan ran towards the Basketball courts and was hoping that he could make it to the Playground where he could hopefully keep them at bay until he figured out how to escape with his life.
A Fireball hit the Oval ground in front of Dylan sending up a dust cloud of grass and Earth, Dylan spun to see the shadow guardians bolting after him shooting fireballs at him hoping to set him on fire, only Mason remained where he was, as Dylan turned around and ran he pointed his Katana at a nearby tree and said the Earth spell causing the tree to come alive and obey Dylan, Dylan turned his katana at his perusers and said “Get them please” from where Mason was standing Dylan looked pretty pathetic pointing his Puny sword at a tree then pointing the sword at him, Mason continued to stare at Dylan when the Ground all around him Latterly erupted and Tree roots came out surrounding Mason, The roots reached out to grab Mason only to be cut down by his Little sister Keryn who formed a hole in the root wall and freed Mason.
Dylan had reached the back of the School Building and watched Keryn pull mason out of his root attack, “DAMN IT” Dylan saw Keryn and Mason start walking towards him from the Very back of the Oval while the rest of the shadow guardians had reached the back of the Basketball courts and were closing in fast, “THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON YOUNGER THEN ME THAT BEAT ME IN A FIGHT AND THAT WAS KERYN TODD” Dylan was running past a window covered wall that was part of Rainbow room with the Guardians close behind him, “AND MASON TODD COULD ALWAYS BEAT ME WHEN IT CAME TO BLOODY KNOWLEDGE” Dylan ran past a door that lead to the only Hallway through the main building when out of no where Jackson grey one of Dylan’s Primary school friends leapt forward and punched the brick wall where Dylan had been just half a second ago.
“OH COME ON” Dylan ran past the Aqua room portable and headed to the playground behind it only to be blocked by his brother Tristan, Ebony and Robert “ROBBIE” churchward, Dylan pointed his katana at the Ground and hoped that this plan worked.
“WWIINNDD”
Dylan was launched high into the Sky a giant dust tornado that knocked down the tree next to Aqua room and sucking all the nearby Shadow guardians only for them to try and follow Dylan but landed hard on the concrete behind Aqua room.
Dylan landed on one of the Shade sails above the playground, Dylan looked around to see if any of the shadow guardians had followed him when a Fireball shot up and through a burning hole it made RIGHT IN FRONT OF DYLAN, Dylan saw the Fireball shoot into the air when another on came up to his left and Dylan decided it was time to get out the shade Sail and take out these shadow assholes.
Dylan Ran towards the Edge of the shade sail closest to the Chocolate and Jade portables, when he reached the edge he jumped of just as the shade sail he was standing on was ripped apart by rapid fireballs, Dylan sailed through the air for three seconds until he dropped and rolled on the breezeway a metal veranda in between Chocolate and Jade room.
Dylan was on his feet in seconds and quickly jumped down from the breezeway and ran towards the playground underneath the one remaining Shade sail, Tristan saw Dylan and quickly followed after him, Dylan came to a blue half tube like ladder and quickly climbed it and coming to a ledge with a yellow ladder on the left and another ledge in front of him.
Dylan turned to see his Brother climbing the Blue ladder his face full of hatred and rage, the other shadow guardians weren’t far behind him, Dylan climbed up to the next ledge and turned around to block an attack from his brother with shield, Dylan pushed Tristan’s sword back and slashed at him only for his sword to be blocked by Brandon baldachino and his sword.
Dylan just stared at the big man who was defending his little brother, at school Brandon hated Tristan but here it seemed that didn’t matter, Dylan Kicked Brandon down the ladder he had climbed up and then punched Tristan in the side of his head as he watched Brandon fall.
While both of them went tumbling to the ground Dylan was looking around him for a way out, he looked to the left where a kind of ladder stood there, it’s steps went from one side to the other like a Snake crawling up a pole, On the pole ladder was Keryn who had finally caught up, Dylan looked to his right where a blue chain ladder hung there, on the ladder was Lachlan Christie, another one of Dylan’s friends from primary school.
Ahead of Dylan was a yellow double slide and Dylan’s only way for escape, Dylan turned behind him to see Tristan, Robbie and ebony all on the blue tube ladder, next to them was Brandon on the yellow ladder, Dylan looked right to see Lachlan and Jackson both on the ladder and on the left was Keryn who had climbed onto the ledge and Mason who was still on the ladder.
Dylan looked at the Slide and summed up his options of Victory on this playground, there weren’t many options, ‘Oh what the hell’ Dylan grabbed the Bar above the slide and swung himself down the slide to the ground and surprisingly his little sister Mikaylah, Dylan kicked her in the chest and ran over her before the shadow guardians caught up with him and killed him.
Mason and Ebony watched from the top of the slide as Dylan run around the edge of the lime room portable into a gap between Lime room and the Apricot room portable, “Follow him with Tristan and Brandon, Send Scot, Keryn and Robert around Yellow room and block him off from there” Mason kept staring at the Gap between the two portables where Dylan had disappeared, “send Mikaylah, Lachlan and Jackson around Apricot and block him in that area” Mason turned to Ebony and said “Make sure he doesn’t escape” ebony nodded her head and ran off to do her orders telling who to go where and who to go with, mason turned back to the portables and smiled, ‘there will be no Dawn for him”.
Ebony Brandon and Tristan went to the Gap and didn’t see Dylan hiding there, “Come on” Ebony swept he hand near her hand to tell Brandon and Tristan to follow her, Brandon walked ahead of her and turned around the corner…
Only to have his head Cut of by Dylan who was waiting around the corner to ambush one of his enemies, Ebony saw the Blade slice through Brandon’s neck and his head fall off when Dylan Ran out into the open towards and fire a Lightning spell at Her, Ebony dodge to the side but the spell hit the side of her Hair, igniting it and then Thundering through Tristan’s chest killing him instantly.
Ebony cast a Water spell on her hair then engaged Dylan in a Brutal sword fight.
Slash, Thrust, Parry, duck, jump, block, deflect a fire spell, swap places, slash, cut, slash, slash, duck, dodge, jump, parry, cast Ice spell.
Dylan usually didn’t hit girls but he had a good reason to hit ebony so he kicked he Sword hand then punched her across the face knocking her to the ground and bolting for the gap where Brandon’s headless body and Tristan’s smouldering corpse lay quickly followed by an Enraged Ebony.
Dylan ran past the playground while dodging the spells cast by Mason, Robbie’s little brother Alex Churchward and Ebony, Dylan charged at Alex and cast a Ice spell at him and then sliced through him while he was busy reflecting the ice spell with a Fire spell, Ebony was still chasing him and mason stared to run after him.
The shadow Guardians having lost three warriors still had 9 members hounding Dylan and it was then that all hell broke lose for the guardians, Buka had joined the battle.
Buka was on the back of the Oval while Dylan was running past Rainbow room, Scot Cole, Keryn Todd and Robbie Churchward who had gone around Yellow room portable saw him run past the hallway door and past the first two windows of Rainbow room when Scott fired a Combined Lightning Fire spell at Dylan where it hit him flat on the shield in his left hand and threw him though the third window of rainbow room.
Ebony, mason, Scott, Keryn and Robbie closed in on the broken window and were about to climb in to see if Dylan was dead when the window closet to the hallway door exploded outward, amongst all the glass and window edges was Dylan, Dylan turned to he stunned Guardians and said “ALOHA” then charged forward and killing Scott and Robbie in the progress, after his charge through the two guardians he ran towards the oval.
“GET HIM” Mason, Keryn and Ebony charged after Dylan all firing lightning spells at him, Dylan kept running until he got to the edge of the oval and the basketball courts where Buka stood waiting, they both turned and pointed their Katana’s at he Basketball court while saying the earth spell.
If Dylan’s Tree stunt had being amazing then this Earth spell was a wonder, the entire basket court rose up like a big wave and went hurdling towards the main building of the school and Mason, Keryn and Ebony.
The Moving wall of asphalt, concrete, metal and paint crashed into the shadow guardians and flung them into the brick wall behind them only then to have the wave to crash into them, Ebony and Keryn were killed instantly but mason was severely injured and pined underneath the asphalt and a basketball hope plus pole, only his arms, chest and head were above the mixed concrete, asphalt and basket ball hoops.
Dylan and Buka stared at the giant rock like structure they had created laying halfway up and halfway IN the school building, Dylan saw Mason still alive and walked up to him, when Dylan reached Mason he pointed his katana at his throat and asked “Why are you doing this Mason?”
Mason looked up at Dylan and tried to say a Complex lightning spell that would destroy everyone when Dylan Fire a ice spell at point blank range straight into Mason’s head killing him.
Buka walked over and was about to say something his cheat just exploded as a Fire/Lightning/Water spell cut through it killing Buka, Dylan turned around to see Buka fall and right behind him were the three remaining Shadow guardians, Mikaylah, Jackson and Lachlan.
“I always said that these filth of you Imagination aren’t real” Mikaylah pointed her hand at Dylan, “and no you shall join him and everyone else in this place”, Dylan grabbed her by the wrist and spun her around so that she collected Lachlan and Jackson on the way, while he was spinning them around Dylan was thinking of the most powerful spells he had heard of in his Dream world, “FIRAGA, BLIZZAGA, THUDNAGRA, HYDRANAGA, EARTHAGNA, TORDANOCUS” A Giant flaming Tornado sped out of his hands and took Mikaylah, Lachlan and Jackson high into the Sky where they were impaled by Ice shards, Earth splinters, lightning bolts, razor sharp water needles and then were finally slammed back down to Earth and Incinerated on impact.
Dylan stared at the bodies around him and felt a great anger, all these people were his friends or family and whoever was in charge of this mess was going to pay for this with their life.
“HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A WOMEN SCORNED HEY” Dylan put his katana in it’s sheath and stared walking towards the Oval where he knew the next gate lay, “WELL LETS SEE IF HELL HAS NO FURY FOR ME WHEN I GET PISSED OFF BIG TIME” Dylan waked past the flaming bodies of his enemies and on the back of the oval where a soccer goal post stood “AND THE LEADER OF THE SHADOW GAURDIANS ISN’T SO MYSTERIOS ANY MORE” Dylan walked through the goal post and instead of coming out on the other side he ended up staring a flagpole on a base made of little tiles, surrounding the Flagpole were trees and benches, Dylan recognized the area around him and knew what Buka had meant about the realm of Deloraine, it meant the Grange high school on Deloraine Drive, a man stood underneath the shadow of the Flagpole stood a Boy, he was wearing midnight blue Cloak with tiny pinpoints of silver only his hood was off and is face was now exposed to the world.
“Hello Dylan” the Boy Said,
“Hello Brad” Dylan replied,
The boy before Dylan was the Leader of the Shadow guardians,
The Boy’s name was Bradley Allan Wombwell,
And he was Dylan’s first Best friend.
“Did you have to decimate my shadow guardians like that I mean gees Incineration, slicing and Dicing, a lightning bolt through the chest?” Bradley was walking towards Dylan, “I have to agree though” Brad stopped and put his hand unto the thinking position over the mouth, ‘Moving the entire Basketball court was pure genius, oh wait I just remembered” A Black katana appeared out of thin air in front of Brad, “I’m dealing with You” Bradley Grabbed the Katana and sliced through the Aluminium flagpole causing it to fall like a tree in a Forest.
“I just remembered something from year 8 Performing arts Dylan’ The Flagpole stared leaning towards Dylan, “a little Mine that included us Cutting down a MIME Tree and you do the little mime TIMBER” Dylan stepped to the side as the Flagpole hit the ground and snapped in several places.
Dylan was watching the flagpole hit the ground when Bradley karate kicked him in the chest sending Dylan flying into the main office, Dylan crashed through one of doors and broke it of it’s hinges, the door fell to the ground as Dylan crashed into both glass windows of the reception area and out through the opposite doors again breaking one off.
Dylan skidded to halt 5 metres away from the main office and just lay there for a few seconds before he said “Ow”, Brad walked to the broken doorway of the office and instead of walking through it he jumped over the building.
“Ok Dylan you’ve seen it in the movies and read it in the books, just roll back slightly and jump up” Dylan was trying to roll back and jump up when Bradley jumped over the office and start falling towards Dylan, Dylan finally rolled back and jumped up only to kick Brad in the chest and end up back where he started, on the ground trying to get back up.
“Bugger” Dylan said as Brad flew back up over the office and out of sight, Brad flew though the air and landed hard on the Roof of F9 or the “FISHBOWL” as the students call it, Brad was about to curse Dylan when the entire roof to collapse under the force of Brads landing, when Dylan finally got his feet and walked back to the Flag pole base and looked around for brad ready for attack, Brad was no where to be seen, Dylan was about to walk over to the library when the front wall of the Fishbowl exploded outwards sending Bricks in every direction.
Brad was standing in the hole in wall his arms were up so he looked like he had pushed the entire wall outwards, Bradley looked up at Dylan and his face twisted into a enraged snarl, Dylan put his Katana away and grabbed a tree from the ground next to the flagpole base and swung it upwards until it rested on his shoulder.
Bradley grabbed his katana from he twisted wreckage of the Fishbowl roof and charged at Dylan, when Bradley came within reach Dylan grabbed the Flag pole with both hands and swung it Baseball style knocking down all the trees on the his right side in the progress.
The flagpole connected with Brad’s shoulders and sent him flying into the C6 classroom, when Dylan finished his anti-clock ward spin all the trees around the flagpole base had being uprooted and knocked down while Bradley was again no where to be seen.
Dylan looked around and saw a hole in the brick wall that formed the C6 wall; Dylan was staring at the hole when Bradley jumped out of the hole while HOLDING A SCHOOL TABLE ABOVE HIS HEAD.
Bradley ran forward and threw the table at Dylan who had tried to grab one of the trees on the ground, The Table flew through the air with it’s legs in the air and hit Dylan square in the chest adding him to the table’s momentum.
Dylan landed n the ground underneath a tree with the table on top of him, bruised from the skid he looked up to see Bradley walking towards him with his Black Katana at hand, Dylan got a closer look at Brad’s katana and relished that it was opposite to his, The cutting blade in the front was black while Dylan’s was Silver’s, the handle was purple and the Yin and Yang was replaced with a Red blood drop.
“YOU INSOLET LITTLE BOY I WILL PESONALY RIP OUT YOUR HEART AND STUFF IT DOWN YOUR THROAT” Bradley was a few feet away from Dylan and from where he was standing he couldn’t see Dylan was reaching for the tree behind him because the table was blocking it from his sights.
“You know what Bradley?” Dylan grabbed the tree Trunk as Bradley asked “WHAT?”, “I always was the better fighter and smarter one” Bradley stared at Dylan in disbelief and Wonder, “What?”, “oh you know a little spell called EARTHAGNA” the ground around Bradley erupted in dust clouds as Giant roots from every tree in the grange High school Zeroed in of the Two fighters and instantly attacked Bradley and the table.
The table was lifted high in the air by a group of 10 roots and hurled at Bradley who cut it in half along with several roots; Dylan climbed to his feet and charged at Bradley with his Katana pointed at the sky while Bradley twirled round and round cutting up the roots that kept coming within range of him, Bradley cut down the last root and turned to finish Dylan when all of a sudden Dylan karate kicked him in the face sending him rocketing towards F-Block.
Bradley crashed through the Lockers on the front of F-block and quickly slammed through F1 and F2, Bradley continued on through the F-block office and stopped underneath the wall that divided f3 and the science block storage area, Bradley sat up and shook his head, He was about to get up when a the remaining part of the wall above collapsed on top of him, Bradley sat in a pile of broken plaster “Ouch”.
Dylan walked into F3 through the door and saw Bradley at the end of the room sitting in the plaster, “Remember important rule for the science lab?” Dylan waled over to one of the work benches around the sides, “Never leave the gas on” Brad got up and dusted himself down from the plaster powder, ‘lets see what happens if I turn on all he gas in this Building and throw a Fire spell in there with you still in the Gas field” Bradley’s head snapped up to stare at Dylan in horror, “when did you become so BLOODY cruel?” Dylan pointed his hands at himself, “Let’s see, when all MY FRIENDS TRY TO BLOODY KILL ME THAT’S WHEN, THUNDAGRA” Dylan surrounded himself in lightning bolts and ran through the entire Science block opening gas valves and flick switches allowing gas to speared to the entire F-block.
Bradley tried to run to the door only to be stopped by Dylan holding a fireball in his hands, “where do you think you going SHADOW GUARDIAN” Bradley tried to push past Dylan only to be pulled back by Tree roots that had broken though the glazed floor, Bradley tried to fight the roots but when he saw them catch fire he knew he was in trouble, he turned back to stare at Dylan, “Hope your Fire proof” Dylan walked out of the Building and closed the door behind him as the Gas hit the burning tree’s and ignited the Entire F-block.
Dylan walked away from the Burning building scratched, battered and bruised but otherwise unharmed.
