I also head Avalon be called the realm of the fae or caries once.

Why they joined: Couldn't afford to pay anything that 'she' taxed. Got sick of it and went to live deep in the forest.

Ok. Few things.
1) the underground resistance group against Trinity ("Her") is called the underground unless someone can think of a better name
2) No idea what to name the council
3) this is going to be set in 2012, but cause this is an magical dimension it's not exactly the same as the human world. There are some modern things (radio and tv, cars' planes, trains and most importantly music Walkman) but everything is steam punk. Also the army and the underground uses weapons like swords, pikes and spears, axes and muskets; as wel as wearing armor like these guys (http://www.flickr.com/photos/stevegreaves/2787063614/lightbox/)

When I say the council i mean the resistance... and 'the underground' is a horrible name!
