Unfortunately I'm in a mood that my writing gets more elaborate and descriptive, bordering on scientific and semi-philosophical ... and it tends to last a while

Well, you did say you're an earth adept right? Well...then yeah, you can do some plant and lava, but not for a long while after we start.

Look at it this way Extreme. This is like Avatar: The Last Airbender
If you want to move mud. You get an waterbender and an earthbender
If you want to move steam. You get an waterbender and a firebender to make the steam, then an airbender and a waterbender can move it

And if anyone says fire should have lightning I can use science to explain why air gets it so don't tempt me.

So now we don't do a fusion dance and then use the power, we stay separate people and use our powers individually to move our element within the combined element and work together to move the whole thing
