Table top RPG

I just had my first two sessions of Pathfinder. It's great fun we are on a quest to save a village from a plauge, so we are retrieving the ingredients now. About three minutes in we met a slightly racist man so our Half Orc stabbed him in the stomach, while I, a super charismatic Halfling, convinced a nearby woman to ignore what had happened. After that we chased him down an alley and the Orc sliced off his head with a sythe. We hid his body in a bush. But it turned out that we had just robbed his now orphaned son a few minutes ago. So, after gettin our quest and heading out of town I stuck a peice of paper on the kids window that read: "go check in the bush behind the blacksmith sTore.

We were told that to get an ingredient from a local witch we'd need something to give her, so I ran back to town, convinced the kid to join us so he could be a hero. We now have a 12 year old kid following us around who we make go into dangerous areas first and taste test foods that may be poisonous.

So, has any one else done any table top RPGing?

You know what Dungeons & Dragons is? Its that whole genre of games.

Problem is that I have no friends in real life who would play something like that. I don't even know if I would, lit role play is about as far as I go.

Yea, we dont like dress up and sh*t like they show on tv shows and such. Im sure hardly any one does in real life...thats messed up.

Anyways, once I get my computer and learn how to GM I was thinking I could orginize a game over the interwebz.

Hahaha, didn't notice that >_< Anyways, we ditched the kid in the town, but just to be a dick, right before we left I told him that the Half-Orc killed his dad and jumped in the carrige. We are now doing a short pre-made adventure while our GM gets his home brewed one ready.

We were speculating that he is going to come back for revenge when he is an adult.

Mmhm, interesting...I like this concept...makes me eager to play some.

Its really great when you have got a good GM (Game Master)

For Example:

Bad GM
Player:Can I jump off the roof and grapple the orc captain?
GM: No.
Player: Why?!
GM: Cause it wouldn't work.

Good GM
Player:Can I jump off the roof and grapple the orc captain?
GM:Yes, but if you mess up you could seriously hurt yourself.
Player: Whatevs, im a beast.
GM: Okay, roll an acrobatics check (d20+acrobatics skill) then a grapple check.
